Jim Thornton is president of James P. Thorton Homes, Inc., an independently owned and operated franchise of Arthur Rutenberg Homes in Melbourne, Brevard County, Florida.  Jim grew up in south Florida and started his career in the building business working as a teenager during summers and holidays for local builders.  At the young age of 22, Jim obtained his State of Florida General Contractor License and was already regarded as a seasoned veteran by his peers.
