The Rotary club participates in many volunteer-based efforts in the community, such as Habitat for Humanity and the Keep Brevard Beautiful Adopt-a-Highway program. They raise funds to support other charities

The rehabilitation center care for more than 3,500 wild animals per year and releases them back to the wild.

The Surfrider Foundation is a nonprofit environmental organization dedicated to the protection and employment of the world's oceans, waves and beaches for all people, through conservation, activism, research and education. Surfrider is represented by more than 50,000 members and 60 U.S. chapters and ahs affiliations in Australia, Japan, France and Brazil.
Surfrider works to educate people on water safety, quality, and conservation, and acts as a resource for environmental issues. The foundation holds beach cleanups as it works to ensure beach access for the public.
