Academy Alumni

Greg Ellingson and a core group of other interested Air Force Academy alumni have embarked upon the start of a Space Coast chapter of The United States Air Force Academy Association of Graduates (USAFA AOG).  Greg is dedicated to identifying distinguished alumni who live in Brevard County.   The goal is to ultimately bring together former cadets, graduates, widows of graduates and friends of the Air Force Academy to protect the aims and values of the Academy. The purpose of this chapter is to educate the public and gather support for the graduates who deserve our appreciation.

Members will participate in Chapter events and ceremonies featuring a variety of guest speakers, Academy staff and Association of Graduates staff. Chapters aim to further public knowledge of the Academy by offering support to USAFA representatives at college or high school job fairs or addressing high school students and organizations about their experience and achievements. Members are also sources of support for traveling cadet teams and clubs with whom they have the privilege of interacting.

A national conference is held annually to recognize chapters whose efforts have provided immense support for the Air Force Academy. It credits members who have voluntarily participated to contribute to the progress and accomplishments of the Academy. Besides esteemed acknowledgement, chapters receive rewards to be used towards future objectives.

Air Force Academy Alumni Chapters feel that it’s their duty to give back to the school that gave them the tools and opportunities to succeed.  The new USAFA AOG Space Coast Chapter looks forward to the opportunity to unite with fellow Academy graduates and unite in support of furthering its success.
