Hoover Middle School is the other Indialantic school with an “A” rating and is located at 2000 Hawk Haven Dr. This school has students in grades 7-8 only, there is approximately 533 students and the student to teacher ratio is 16:1. This school packs a punch with long line up of stellar academic programs, sports programs and extra-curricular activities. Hoover middle school ranks as the 4th best public middle school in the entire county, with an “A” rating for academics, and an “A” rating for the teachers, this school sets the bar high! They have basketball teams for both boys and girls, cheerleading, and track as well. Some of the extra-curricular activities offered include: band and orchestra, YA café, National Junior Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Odyssey of the Mind, Hoover best buddies, lego team, Hoover cheerleading, Hoover makerspace club, Launch STEM careers club for girls, and Hoover mentoring program.

Holy Name of Jesus Catholic School

Holy Name of Jesus is a catholic school in Indialantic, FL. located at 3060 N. Highway A1A.  This school has students in grades PK-8, with a student to teacher ratio of 12:1. The classes are a bit smaller than public schools; this allows for the teacher to take more time teaching each and every student. Holy Name of Jesus has been providing schooling to the beachside community of Indialantic for over 50 years, their curriculum is in communion with their family values, community goals, and faith traditions. This school receives multiple awards each year at the Brevard County/Catholic School Science and Art fairs, along with spelling bees, geo bees, math competitions essay contests and more. They offer a well-rounded athletic program, from PK-8 grade they have PE class twice per week where they learn the fundamentals of each sport.
